2023 marks the 10th anniversary of Ludovico Einaudi's most popular album, In A Time Lapse, with 300K unit sales and almost 8 billion streams to its name.
 
Building on the success of Nightbook and integrating more instrumentation than ever before, Einaudi fully embraced the range of possibilities this provided him.

In A Time Lapse is Einaudi’s representation of the bringing together all of life’s experience and emotions into a single moment of time. Recorded in a remote monastery near Verona and written over a period of 2 years it is as Epic and emotional as Divenire and as experimental and adventurous as Nightbook.

Einaudi’s aim when writing In A Time Lapse was to guide the listener through a reflection on time, transcending its constraints, saying “it is only when we become aware or are reminded that our time is limited that we can channel our energy into truly living”.
