The studio concert series that the renowned Bauer Studio has created and publishes under the Plattenlabel Neuklang Records deserves more than respect. Who in today's time is able to create quasi live conditions a purely analog record production is truly one of the greats. So invited invited guests to a concert in the studio and recorded all the happenings on tape. The result is great, especially since the Ukrainian jazz pianist Vadim Neselovskyi has delivered a truly exciting session with modern, contemporary jazz with his two partners.- 5/5 Vinylfan

The Ukrainian jazz pianist Vadim Neselovskyi is now not a small fish in the jazz scene - he can be called, among other things, assistant professor at the renowned Berklee College of Music - but to be able to sit on the same Steinway wing, on the Keith Jarrett 1975 his legendary "KölnConcert", was surely a very special feeling for him. All the more so, as Neselovskyi played a concert recording on this instrument. Although not, as Jarrett's time, solo piano but accompanied by Bodek Janke at the drums and Alex Morsey at the contrabass, but read Direct Recording. At the beginning of this concert it is almost said that Neselovskyi and his trio were hunted by the dangers of the direct cut, which does not allow any subsequent beauty corrections, the opener "Spring Song" begins - but far from it.

After a few minutes, bass and drums suddenly break into a series of bubbly breakbeats that come with such a degree of precision and dynamic range that it is quickly clear: here is no false restraint, but full force ahead, all or nothing, hit or miss , And when the record ends with "Vadims Half Hour Blues" is clear: that was hit, and not miss. Neselovsky's exciting arrangements between free jazz and modern beat experiments bring you right, and the sound quality of the studio concert series from Bauer Studios and the label Neuklang is really in itself. This publication is only available in strictly limited and numbered edition, just like all of this series, and exclusively on vinyl.

Completely analogue recording, high-quality pressing on 180 g-heavy vinyl. In the cover.

Vadim Neselovskyi was with his Bez Granitz Trio at Bauer Studios guest , "Bez Granitz" means limitless in Russian. Border areas have always fascinated him, because freedom can be found and discovered.  Alex Morsey, one of the most sought after players in Germany, and the exceptional drummer and -Percussionisten Bodek Janke Neselovskyi two musicians around him, allowing him to continue to explore the tension between form and freedom, and with which he presents a great live recording here ,
