Jütz s debut album was nominated for the " Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik " in 2015 . A few months later the band for a return STUDIO CONCERT in the Bauer Studios back. For this vinyl, she chooses both older and new pieces and, in addition to Italian and Austrian songs, also listened to German songs, which she interprets afresh and embeds in a garment of jazz. Sometimes quietly hidden and in the next title loudly present lives all the pieces of the Alpine Flair, which is characteristic of the trio. Daniel Woodtli on the trumpet and flugelhorn, Isa Kurz on accordion and violin, and Philipp Moll on the contrabass create a remarkable, Musical diversity and dynamism. There is a music full of tensions, breaks with the familiar and the free unfolding with the melody.

So much can be said without exaggeration: Jütz is one of the most unusual bands, which so far in the studio concert series of the Bauer Studios before the audience and microphones. The Swiss-Tyrolean trio from the three multi-instrumentalists Isa Kurz, Daniel Woodtli and Philipp Moll makes music, all of which comes from alpine folklore, from the Guggisberg song to "Wengernalp" to "The Land of Tirol Die Treue" (trumpet, violin, double bass, accordion, and many more) into exciting, atmospheric art works, somewhere between jazz and worldmusic. Floating sounds and chirping colors show the vastness and loneliness of the Berglanders; an alpine panorama without any kitsch. This is exciting, musically demanding, and gently penetrating. As always, the sound quality is beyond all doubt in the studio concert releases, and this comes very much from the music, which is so very different from the numerous sound colors of the different instruments. Something quite different!

"The studio concerts of Neuklang have always impressed the audience with what great recording techniques are capable of.

Isa Short - vocals, violin, accordion, dulcimer; Daniel Woodtli - trumpet, flugelhorn, shrutibox, glockenspiel, vocals; Philipp Moll - double bass, glockenspiel, vocals

Reviews - "Their debut album Jütz of the same name was nominated for the best list of the German record critics. After I heard this LP with the studio concert, I can understand this nomination very well. Jütz represent for me a trio, which still understands music as an art that preserves the old, by creating a new angle of view on it. And precisely for this the three deserve special respect and recognition. "(Vinyl-fan. De)
