The Pro-Ject cable range has been optimised for use with turntables. As a result, the 'CC' range - an electrically shielded cable made with pure Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) conductors with an additional layer of carbon fibre - are highly flexible with low capacitance and a perfect shield.
All Pro-Ject cables have been developed to have low colouration and are handmade in Europe. State-of-the-Art components for leads, dielectric and plugs were chosen only after intense listening tests ruled them the best. Specific lengths were chosen because of their significant advantages when carrying audio signals.
The 5P-CC cable is a great cable option for linking a turntable tonearm directly to a phono stage, on compliant turntables. It uses the standard 5-Pin DIN connection, and the cable is found as standard on various high-end turntables, such as the 6 Perspex and Xtension 10.
The Pro-Ject cable range is made up of two different models: CC, and the premium SI (which utilise a silver construction). .
