Stamford - SAHER001 - Two Disc 180 gram Vinyl

Numbered Limited Edition of 1,000 Copies

The earliest live recordings yet discovered of this hero of British folk were originally released on CD by Ace Records in 1998, 30 tracks of Bert originals, blues and folk covers recorded between 1962 and 1964 by schoolboy Frank Coia.

Now on vinyl for the very first time, these tracks are an important document of early live appearances by a mercurial talent, and Stamford  has launched a very special label to enable the songs to be heard on the beautiful vinyl format.

This is the first release on the Stamford  Heritage label, aiming to represent recordings of historical significance on vinyl; it will be strictly limited to 1000 hand-numbered copies and will not be repressed.

Tracks:

Something's Coming, Careless Love, Veronica, When Do I Get To Be Called A Man, Courting Blues, Medley: Angi/Work Song, Tic-Tocative, Alice's Wonderland, Meanest Man In Town, Joint Control, Bottle It Up And Go, Untitled Instrumental #1, Train Song, Stagolee, Rocking Chair Blues, Me And My Baby Never Used To Have A Fight, Finches, Blues Run The Game, Pretty Polly, Come Back Baby, Untitled Instrumental #2, I Am Lonely I Am Lost, Freedom, One Day Old, Train On The River, Hallelujah I Love Her So, Strolling Down The Highway, Gallows Tree, Betty And Dupree, Dry Land Blues
