Fritz Wunderlich already attended the music teacher at the Gymnasium because of his wonderful natural voice, and his career was soon to be guided into a regular course. While studying at the Freiburger Musikhochschule in the fields of Waldhorn and Gesang, Wunderlich also performed as a solotenor at the university concerts. His role as "Tamino" led him to an engagement at an opera house and finally to the Stuttgart Staatsoper! Stuttgart Radio, the Rundfunkorchester Kaiserslautern and RSO Stuttgart also co-operated with him, so from 1954 to 1959 some recordings were made, which were brought together in chronological order on this LP. The range of the repertoire ranges from operetta numbers to classical opera naries,
