Eric Bibb is an outstanding musician with a fantastic feel for rhythm and blues music. This man is a great talent, and this album is a keeper. The 1st time I played it, I just had to play it a second time. As for the vinyl pressing / recording.....this is fantastic. I cannot believe how good this album sounds on my system - Audio Review
It's always good news to hear of a release by Eric Bibb. Pure Pleasure Records has issued yet another fine recording, Eric's 2001 release Painting Signs, on 180g Vinyl for the enjoyment of the audiophile Blues fan!
Growing up, Eric Bibb was surrounded by musically talented people including his folk-singing father, Leon Bibb, pianist John Lewis who is his uncle, and even his godfather, Paul Robeson, the legendary vocalist.
