Mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering - 180 Gram Virgin Vinyl
Limited Edition - Pressed at Pallas
"...a musical and sonic treat Young fans would be foolish to pass up. Surely this won't be in-print forever, so get it while you can! Live recordings don't get much better than this." Music = 10/11; Sound = 11/11 - Michael Fremer
Winner of a Gruvy Award, chosen by AnalogPlanet's editor, Michael Fremer, for vinyl records that are musically and sonically outstanding and are also well mastered and pressed./www.analogplanet.com
The LP mastering and cutting was done using the original 1/2" analog master tapes.
Mastered and cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood from analog master tapes prepared by John Nowland at Neil Young’s studio, this vinyl package features two heavyweight black-vinyl discs in a Stoughton gatefold jacket.
Given an "official" release by Young's planned-archive series, this follow-up to his Live at the Fillmore East (featuring Crazy Horse) is an all-acoustic, solo outing from January 1971. Only 25 years ago, and with the highs (and lows) of the Buffalo Springfield, CSN&Y and three solo albums under his belt, Neil went home to Canada and delivered a majestic set of just voice and either flat-top guitar or piano. Bootlegged recordings of this tour are infamous among fans and have been passed around for decades.
The official mix from his personal tapes is a Godsend, positioning the listener front row center, catching a budding rock legend in his early prime. Mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering from analog master tapes prepared by John Nowland at Neil's Ranch and pressed on 180-gram vinyl.
