EAT have also offered high quality turntables which offer high performance at a reasonable cost. The new EAT Prelude turnatble is no diffenent in that respect but is now possible to own a high quality EAT turntable at an even more affordable price with the EAT Prelude.

Whilst some compromises had to be made to achieve its price point the EAT Prelude still uses the same principles as other higher cost EAT turntables such as a heavy weight platter for speed stabilty. A very high tolerance stainless bearing in bronze bushing for smooth rotation.

A Ortofon 2M Red MM cartridge is preinstalled to the EAT Prelude and it also comes supplied with hinged Acrylic cover.

The plinth is made from MDF and protected by eight layers of lacquer giving the plinth a luxurious appearance. The tonearm assembly uses carbon fibre for the tonearm tube and a heavy mass bearing assembly to offer better energy control.

The EAT Prelude offers build quality and performance well above what you would expect from a turntable of this cost.
