Seventh Sojourn, released in 1972, is the seventh studio album by The Moody Blues in their "classic" lineup and their eighth album overall. It was a huge multi-platinum smash for The Moody Blues and a touchstone of symphonic and progressive rock.

Featuring the original award winning line-up of Justin Hayward (vocals/guitars), John Lodge (vocals/bass), Ray Thomas (vocals/flutes), Ray Pinder (vocals/keyboards) and Graeme Edge (drums/vocals), Seventh Sojourn is undoubtedly one of the English quartet's biggest selling albums and also one of their most revered.

In addition to the two smash hit singles "Isn't Life Strange" and "I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band)," Seventh Sojourn is filled with more masterful works like the powerful Ray Thomas classic "For My Lady," John Lodge's masterpiece "When You're a Free Man," and the Justin Hayward/Graeme Edge collaboration "You and Me."

Although Seventh Sojourn is four decades young, it stands as a modern era classic to this very day.
