Saffron's interpretation of Bach's cello arrangements can be characterized by a unique approach to the music of the great composer and a bold and narrative way of playing . The music of this great musician is far from the restoration of museum-like music that follows the wrong tradition , and improper modernization . Utilizing the cello's rich expressive potential , the touch of the bow, the subtle transliteration of vibrato , and the elements of the dance , he took advantage of a variety of strokes and intonations, ranging from difficult to emphasized to sharp and energetic phrases . Saffron seems to translate the logical language of Bach music into the language of our time . In cellist performances, we listen to Bach, a modern musician, not a clavicod and bourgeois bourgeoisie .
