In the composers lifetime, only a single public performance is delivered. Only much later the score was published in print, but performances remained rare. During the 19th century, the demands on the performing musician changed fundamentally, and works for three excellent soloists (plus full orchestra!) were accordingly difficult to realize. Te respective level of awareness in all its beauty, achieved the Triipelkonzert only with the record - with recordings like this one: Géza Anda With, Wolfgang Schneiderhan and Pierre Fournier, Ferenc Fricsay.
