Charles Mackerras (1925-2010) will appear in the 3-disc set, which will be the first LP to include the famous album Dvorak's Symphony Nos. 8 & 9 "From the New World", Slav's Dance Collection and legendary songs! A big dvorak fan, McKerras was a conductor born in the United States to Australian parents.

Since 1947, he has been studying in Prague for a year and has studied under Wyrzlaf Tarich. As a conductor of "non-Czechs", he is a musician who has made a significant contribution to the Czech classical world, and in the 1996/1997 season he was the principal guest conductor of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Among the many recordings of Dvorak that McKerras loved, the performance put in this LP is an extreme masterpiece! The passionate yet clear performances by late masters from their early 70s to their early 80s are truly moving.
