The  Elipson Infinite 7.2  includes three Elipson Infinite 14 cinema speakers, four Elipson Infinite 8 cinema speakers  and two Elipson Infinite S12 built-in subwoofers  , together with their Elipson A1000 power amp. These speakers can be wall mounted or recessed, to a depth of 11 cm and 22 cm for the subwoofers.

Elipson Infinite: Dolby Atmos
The Elipson Infinite 14 and Elipson Infinite 8 built-in speakers   are designed for the home theater. These are powerful 2-way models that can be used as main, center, surround or ceiling speakers for Dolby Atmos and DTS: X listening. With the Infinite series, Elipson offers a complete offer for home theater integration. Elipson Infinite: Rohacell and carbon membranes
The Elipson Infinite 14 and Elipson Infinite 8 cinema speakers are equipped  Rohacell and carbon membrane speakers, very rigid to withstand distortion at high volume listening. The tweeter is a ring-type model of 29 mm, able to cash high power and mount very high frequency. Elipson has retained a closed load, which optimizes the transient condition of the speaker and promotes a harmonious connection with a subwoofer.  

Elipson Infinite: configurable subwoofer
Designed for home theater and all passive subwoofers, the Elipson Infinite A1000 amp can deliver up to 1000 Watts in 4 ohms. This mono amp is equipped with several types of inputs: RCA, XLR and high-level terminals, to work in all possible home-cinema or hi-fi configurations. It is very configurable and allows to fully exploit the two subwoofers Elipson Infinite S12 regardless of the listening room.

The Elipson Infinite 14 main, surround and center speaker is a 2-way model featuring a sealed enclosure. It is designed to be installed on or in a wall, or behind an acoustically transparent screen. 

Since the speaker's box is compact and not very deep, it is discrete and easy to install. The satin black and brushed metal finish adds to the its charm and discretion, ensuring that it will not interfere with image once hidden behind an acoustically transparent screen.

In an Appolito configuration, the Elipson Infinite 14 is equipped with two 17 cm Rohacell® and carbon fibre mid-low drivers. The 29 mm tweeter features a silk dome and ring.

Very energetic, these speakers offer a frequency response ranging from 60Hz-30kHz for an output power of 150W RMS. Consequently, they can receive a signal at high volume.

The Elipson Infinite S12 subwoofer is a built-in model, designed for home theater rooms and optimized for Elipson Infinite 8 and Elipson Infinite 14. The bass-reflex model is equipped with a powerful 30-speaker cm.

Elipson offers with the built-in Elipson Infinite S12 subwoofer a practical solution for reproducing low frequencies in a home theater room. Passive, this box requires the use of an amplifier to operate. Its permissible power is high, with 500 W continuous and the peak double punctual. Elipson chose a 30 cm loudspeaker, loaded with bass reflex with two circular front vents. Thus, thanks to a volume of a hundred liters, the box reaches the low frequency of 28 Hz, with an attenuation of 3 dB compared to the high-low register.

The Elipson Infinite S12 subwoofer requires a built-in depth of 22 cm and has a solid satin aluminum front panel. It can be installed in partition and behind a transonic screen, without prejudice to its performance.

For large rooms (> 50 m2) or those equipped with many speakers (Atmos for example), the use of several Elipson Infinite S12 subwoofers is recommended.

The Elipson Infinite A1000 power amp is designed to power one or more Elipson Infinite S12 built-in subwoofers .

Designed for home theater and all passive subwoofers, the Elipson Infinite A1000 amp can deliver up to 1000 Watts in 4 ohms. This mono amp is equipped with several types of inputs: RCA, XLR and high-level terminals, to work in all possible home-cinema or hi-fi configurations.

The Elipson Infinite A1000 power amp features an adjustable low-pass filter from 40 to 200 Hz. The user can even choose from several attenuation slopes, from -12 to -48 dB per octave, in increments of 6 dB. In addition, 7 equalization settings are preset to model the playback according to the user's tastes. In addition, a 9-frequency equalizer from 20 Hz to 125 Hz is offered with an amplitude of -6 to +3 dB. The electrical phase is adjustable from 0 to 315 ° in increments of 45 °. Finally, the subsonic high-pass filter can be set to 20 or 40 Hz, in order to limit the excursion of the membrane of the associated subwoofer (s).

The Elipson Infinite A1000 power amp also features an LFE mode, in which only the subsonic filter operates. This mode allows the management of the high cutoff frequency to a home theater amp.

The façade consists of two materials of different density and thickness, but also a cabinet with many internal reinforcements. The Elipson Prestige Facet 11C central speaker complements the compact speakers, with precise and well-articulated dialogues. This two-lane closed-load speaker features a 25mm diameter soft-domed tweeter, paired with two medium-severe speakers 14 cm in diameter. There have been times when I’ve been testing the Elipson where I’ve mentally put a black mark against it as neither being as integrated as some other devices we’ve seen recently nor as capable in absolute musical terms. The thing I’ve then had to do is remind myself is that it is much more affordable than any of them. Even the very keenly priced Quad Artera Solus is another £600 and when you put this in context, you begin to realise that Elipson has played a bit of a blinder.
